Our story is about two brothers, who have been in the business for more than 30 years, and desperately wanted to create something special.
Brothers Leo Hartley’s and Mark Hartley’s dream was to give their patients the best they could in clinical care while making them feel like part of their family. The result? h2 Vision Centres – the ultimate optometry experience. You’ll see part of Mark’s dream coming true even before you walk into the h2 Vision Centres first outlet at Sippy Downs – there is no front door, allowing the shop to spill out on to the courtyard where you can sip a coffee, read a mag, search on a complimentary tablet, or just watch the world go by.
This is a place where there have been no compromises in the quest for perfection and that carries through to the lenses – Zeiss are offered, guaranteeing quality, and one of the reasons why h2 Vision Centres has an unconditional*12 month warranty on all its spectacles.
Leo’s dream was in the clinical area, using the latest technology to take the stress out of visiting the optometrist. Ultra-wide field retinal imaging removes the need for dilating drops in about 99% of cases. The imaging and testing is designed specifically to be as stress free as possible. The refraction usually only takes a few minutes – minimizing the need for many confusing questions –e.g. “which is clearer, the first or second?”
Because Leo was a medical doctor as well as optometrist, he brought a unique approach to management of eye health.
The high tech instrumentation provides state of the art examinations for many serious conditions including glaucoma and macular degeneration.
For patient convenience, Leo and Mark refer to ophthalmic specialists refer patients with cataract, glaucoma, macular degeneration and diabetic retinopathy.
Whether it’s the frame area or the clinic – there is one constant goal – to provide the best, and that extends to the service. This is a place where people remember your name.
h2 Vision Centres is an important step towards the realisation of two dreams by two brothers – but this is just the start of the story. You’ll see…
